Mathematics Tutoring by Richard Lewis

I offer Mathematics tutoring available for one-to-one instruction.  

Tutoring is available for all levels of mathematics from Algebra I through Calculus.  Students feel most comfortable in this interactive one-on-one setting, removed from the peer pressure of other students being present but with all the learning effectiveness of traditional classroom teaching  For more information about my background, see the "About me" section.

My tutoring service provides Expertise, Convenience, Flexibility

• Expertise: Tutoring and teaching since 1979, I have built a strong reputation for providing highly effective math tutoring services to students of all ages and academic levels. My one-on-one tutoring will prove to be part of the solution to your math problems as it has for my many current and past students.  Personal tutoring can help whether your goal is to raise your math grade or to maintain a high grade in a challenging course. 
• Convenience:  I normally tutor at the student's home provided they live within the First Colony area. When it is not convenient to tutor in the student's home, I tutor at the public library in First Colony.  
• Flexibility:  I schedule my students according to their needs.  I go over their class and test schedule to make an appointment that meets the need of the student.
